My Story

I am first and foremost a mother of four almost grown-up children and live in Western Australia. I completed a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) over 20 years ago and became particularly interested in food additives and gut health, culminating in 3 published books.

I went on to complete post-graduate studies in early childhood education, and eventually a Master’s degree, specialising in Learning Difficulties. My thesis was on the association between retained primitive reflexes and learning difficulties, which was chosen after startling results with my son who is diagnosed with Autism.

That led to studying in the UK at the Institute of Neuro-Psychological Physiology and completing my JIAS training in New Zealand. As a mum who has tried in earnest to help my son with his challenges, I am aiming to help as many kids as possible, who ordinarily get pigeon-holed and end up on a path with limited opportunities.
